Body Contouring encompasses suction assisted lipoplasty, lipo-dissolve, abdominoplasty (tummy-tuck), mini tummy-tuck, brachioplasty (arm lifts), and body lifts.

Our consultation begins with a thorough history of pregnancies or massive changes in weight after dieting or bariatric surgical procedures. We will listen to your desires and priorities for body shape improvement. Dr. Salzman will then examine the area that concerns you. We will assess the amount of skin laxity, skin quality, underlying muscle tone, amount of subcutaneous fat and overall body shape. After redressing, you will meet with Dr. Salzman in the library to plan and learn about the possible procedures to achieve your goals.

From photos taken at the examination, we will be able to show you with Vectra computer imaging the possibilities of change in your body appearance. You will visualize lifelike 3d images of your new physique. Also, the location and length of the incisions can be seen. All of the general risks as well as the unique risks of the individual procedure will be discussed. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and explain your goals. He will explain the procedure, the anesthesia as well as the anticipated recovery in detail. When you are satisfied that you have all of the information to make an informed decision you will meet with our patient care coordinator to discuss the fees and possible dates that the surgery could be done.
