Facial Surgery

During the consultation for aesthetic surgery of the face we will determine what areas of the face, eyes, neck, brow, lips you would like to address. We will also try to elucidate whether a surgical or non-surgical approach would better suit your needs as well as your time frames. At consultation with Dr. Salzman, we will go over which procedures you have had in the past, your overall health and examine the areas of the face that concern you. The exam will look at the skin quality, color, texture, elasticity, muscle action and fat pads. The nurse will take photos of the face in multiple views. You will meet again with Dr. Salzman in the library to discuss all the possibilities for improvement. We will show you computer imaging of the anticipated results. The surgeries goals, limitations and potential risks will be discussed by Dr. Salzman. You will have opportunity to ask questions and express your concerns to Dr. Salzman. When you are satisfied that you have all of the information to make an informed decision you will meet with our patient care coordinator to discuss the fees and possible dates that the surgery could be done.

Cosmetic surgery of the face encompasses procedures that restore the vitality of the facial features that have been adversely affected by age, gravity and environmental exposure.
