Contour Thread Lift
The ONLY FDA Approved Barbed Suture!
This new revolutionary procedure is an in office procedure done under local anesthesia. Contour Threads™ are used for repositioning sagging cheeks, lifting sagging eyebrows and readjusting asymmetric brows and face. If any, some patients may experience some mild swelling and bruising that can be lessened by using ice packs and herbal SinEcch. Effects of the Contour Thread™ Lift are immediate and tweaked with the patients' opinion during the procedure!
The Contour Thread™ Lift is performed using a barbed self-anchoring suture that is strategically placed below the skin. Dr. Salzman personally attended training at Duke University in N.C. to learn the precise techniques in performing this procedure. Thus far the results have been very pleasing to both Dr. Salzman and his patients. Call the office for more information or visit www.contourthreads.com to learn about this amazing new suture.
INDICATIONS
Loss of skin elasticity and descent of facial, cheek and neck fat.
INTENDED RESULT
The Contour Thread™ Lift, provides a temporary more rested and youthful contour of the face, brow or eyes.
PROCEDURE DECRIPTION
The Contour™ Thread Lift is an in-office procedure done under a local anesthetic, taking less than an hour. The lift is accomplished using a barbed self-anchoring and adjustable suture that is strategically placed below the skin. These special sutures have a needle system that inserts the threads in the treatment area. The barbs then act to lift the facial tissues and anchor it in a re-suspended more youthful location.
RECUPERATION AND HEALING
Down time is minimal, you may return to normal activities the following day. Some patients may experience some mild swelling and bruising or headache. This is easily controlled with over the counter medications.
We recommend patients avoid taking aspirin, other anti-inflammatory agents and vitamin E supplements for one week prior to treatment. This will help minimize any bruising.
OTHER OPTIONS
Additional procedures that would enhance the result are: Chemical Peel, FotoFacial RF, Lip Lift, Restylane, Radiesse, Botox, and Liposuction of the neck.
