MEET OUR STAFF

Once you decide to consult with Dr. Salzman our Front Desk Coordinator, Tara, will work with you to find the earliest available consultation that fits your schedule. Tara will also be the one who will greet you when you first arrive to our office. If you have any questions or concerns about your consultation appointment just ask Tara and she will see that everything is taken care of.

Once you are checked in, one of our friendly staff members will accompany you to the consultation room where we will go over your goals and past medical history. After meeting with Dr. Salzman, computer imaging photos will be taken so you may discuss the procedures of interest in detail. The computer imaging is also used to help you visualize what changes can be made.

Once you have decided which procedure is best for you, Melissa, our Patient Care Coordinator, will help you put a plan in motion. Here you will review before and after photos, receive exact pricing and can choose your procedure date. Melissa can answer any of your questions, and is always available to help arrange all aspects of your surgical experience including financing options.

Before your procedure, you will come to our office to see our Plastic Surgery Nurse, Kim, for your pre-operative appointment. Kim, a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, adds an additional level of value to our office with her vast experience in surgical care. During your appointment with Kim you will have an informal opportunity to learn much about your upcoming procedure. During this appointment you will go over all related surgical paperwork, consents, prescriptions, etc. If you are having a breast augmentation you will be sized for implants and if you are having liposuction or a tummy tuck you will be sized for a compression garment that is worn after surgery. Kim also spends time reviewing all aspects of the surgery and what to expect during your post-operative recovery period.

When you arrive at the surgery site for your procedure, Susan will take care of all your surgical needs. Susan has worked with Dr. Salzman since early 1993 as his Surgical Care Coordinator and assists him during surgery. With Susan in charge of your surgical care, all you have to do is relax, fall asleep, and you will wake up renewed.

If you are having a facial procedure or are just concerned about having beautiful skin, you will get to know Karen very well. Karen is our Licensed Cosmetologist and a member of the Society of Plastic Surgical Skin Care Specialist. Specializing in paramedical skin care, she continuously updates her knowledge by attending classes around the country. Karen will help you prepare for your facial procedure and get you back in public as soon as possible using special makeup techniques with our exclusive custom blended makeup. With over 20 years of experience, Karen definitely puts the finishing touch on the new you.

Lydia has been a Registered Nurse for 20 + years. She is a Certified Nurse Injector delivering fabulous results with both Botox® and wrinkle fillers. In addition, Lydia is certified in Hair Laser, Affirm and Mulitplex Laser as well as Titan Laser. Riding your body of fat deposits with LipoDissolve is another of her talents. We are sure you will find she is proficient and very personable too.

Angela is one of our wonderful Licensed Aestheticians. She is knowledgeable with all of our skincare lines, trained to do many of our laser treatments and certified in Laser Airbrush Instant Spray Tanning. Many of you will come to know Angela well during your future Skin Spa appointments and find that she possesses a beautifully vibrant personality and is very efficient in her work.

When you visit Skin Spa by Salzman, our Front Desk Coordinator, Abby, will greet you and check you in for your appointment. Abby also takes before and after pictures and will assist you in your product purchases and scheduling of your future appointments. If you have any questions or concerns about your visit to Skin Spa by Salzman, just speak with Abby and she will see to it that everything is taken care of.

Welcome Suzanne, Skin Spa's newest Advanced Nurse Injector. She brings with her 7+ years of aesthetic nurse injecting experience. Having a passion for aesthetics, Suzanne has developed a well trained eye in the art of enhancing with wrinkle fillers and Botox/Dysport, along with being a certified laser technician. Suzanne is now one of the only two Nurse Injectors in the state of Kentucky that have been trained in the use of Sculptra volume filler. Not only is she very talented in her profession, Suzanne is also a very kind and gentle nurse injector that we hope all of our clientele will have a chance to meet.
