“I have always taken good care of myself which to me meant diet, consistent exercise, good skin care and sunscreen and balance of family, work and fun.

As I am approaching 60 I found that these healthy habits were no longer all I needed. It was time to consider plastic surgery and a face lift so my research began.

Dr. Marc Salzman is who I decided on and I made an appointment for a consult.

My thorough consult included a discussion with Dr. Salzman about what bothered me about my face and neck, 3D imaging pictures to show me what I looked like now and what I would look like after the face lift and risks and recovery. An added bonus is that my surgery would be performed in Dr. Salzman’s new, state of the art surgery suite with his long time, experienced staff.

My surgery went just as planned and explained. My recovery went just as planned and explained. My results exceeded my expectations. My surgery was 1 month ago and I feel and look amazing. I have had minimal bruising and my incisions were expertly placed in my hairline and behind my ears.

I couldn’t be happier with my results, care and guidance I received from Dr. Salzman. I highly recommend him for any of your plastic surgery needs.”

“After years of sunning at every opportunity with baby oil and reflectors no less, I finally had to face the mirror! At age 60, my once cute freckles were now just over-sized age spots. My skin was brown and dull.

Skin Spa by Salzman and Jaclyn came to the rescue. I honestly wanted the fastest way to turn the years back and was thrilled to hear about the Profractional Full Field resurfacing procedure. I understood the 7-10 days of recovery and the fact that it could be somewhat uncomfortable.

Brave I am not, so I did take a Valium after arriving at the office to take the edge off. Jaclyn explained that the deeper she could go, the more benefits I would receive, so I was determined to see great results.

The procedure lasted about an hour and was very “doable”. I was well prepared ahead of time and knew exactly what to expect on each day and how to take care of my skin while healing. I made no plans to go out socially for a week (I did suggest to my husband that it may be a great time to visit our children out of town). Not a very pretty week!

I healed very quickly and have never looked back. I am looking forward to all of the new procedures that may apply to me in the future!”

“I believe all of us want to look as good as we can for as long as we can. When something about our appearance bothers us, it makes sense to find out if there is something that will help. I had felt for some time that I looked tired all the time. My eyes appeared sunken. I made an appointment with Dr. Salzman and told him what I felt and wondered if there was anything that could be done about my eyes. I chose Dr. Salzman because he is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. It was important to know that I was seeing someone qualified, who was well known and well thought of in the medical community. Dr. Salzman talked to me about my concerns with my appearance and went over my options with me. I decided on a mini face lift and a bleth. In addition, Dr Salzman did a fat injection in the tear trough where my eyes appeared sunken. This was all done about a year ago and I just wanted to share how very happy I have been with my result. Because I am  happier with my appearance, I feel better.

My experience from my first office visit through my surgery and ultimate result was wonderful. I had very little discomfort. I had looked for pictures to include with my note, but could not find any. If anyone would like to talk to me or meet with me regarding my surgery and result, I would be happy to do so.

Just remember if you are considering plastic surgery to make sure your doctor is qualified and Board Certified. My own personal opinion is that Dr. Salzman is a great choice. Thanks for letting me share.”

“I so appreciate you and your staff. Kim is such a great nurse and has made me feel so comfortable each and every time I’ve been in or called. The other girls are very sweet and helpful too! I had a mastopexy with augmentation back in October of 2012 and an abdominoplasty just three weeks ago. I just want to thank you for being such an awesome surgeon and a compassionate person. You’ve helped me gain so much self-confidence and a new outlook on my life! The fact that you took the time to stop back in and check on me Friday in the hospital so I would feel at ease making my three hour trip back home was very much appreciated also! Simply said Dr. Salzman… you are the BEST!!!!”

“I wasn’t lucky enough to be one of the few women in this world blessed with unforgiving skin. My pregnancies definitely left obvious reminders of the tremendous stretching that a woman’s body endures while carrying their little miracle. I have been blessed with four children and after birthing each one, my body recovered slower and rebounded less. Please understand, my children are worth every pregnancy scar I carry, but that doesn’t take away the insecurities I have about my body. With each pregnancy my breasts also changed. They became larger and droopier. I was very insecure about the silhouette my mirror reflected. They say beauty is on the inside and I do agree to an extent, however when you are not happy with yourself it can affect every aspect of your being; emotionally, mentally, intimately and of course physically. A healthy diet and exercise should have a great presence in everyone’s daily life, but even with all the positives we gain from that, the physical image insecurities I have will never be affected for the better.

Having worked with Dr. Salzman for many years, I have seen the amazing before and after results of the Mommy Makeover. I knew once I was done having children I would undergo this procedure with the hopes of achieving beautiful results like all the other women I have witnessed over the years. Once I decided that my child birthing years were over, I planned my Mommy Makeover! I scheduled it for more than 7 months away so that I could plan everything around it for a smoother experience.

November 17, 2011 was my special day, the day for my Mommy Makeover!

WOW, yes, it hurt; I’m not going to lie. However, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The first two days, I slept a lot. By the third day I was staying awake more and feeling better. The fourth day was my first day home alone. Vacuuming and laundry were still out of the question but I was plenty capable of fixing myself simple foods and drinks as well as take care of my drain and medication schedule. My breasts didn’t hurt at all, but the Tummy Tuck was extremely tight and kept me moving slow. I tried to move around as much as I could, knowing that would help work my soreness out quicker. By the time one week went by, I was getting bored and looking forward to returning to work. I was off work a total of 10 days which for me and my sedentary job was enough.

With every passing week my swelling lessened and my results were becoming more obvious. This is by far the BEST thing I have ever done for myself! I knew I would feel better about my physical image, but I had no idea to what extent. A good friend of mine and I scheduled to go a cruise only three months after my Mommy Makeover and I went shopping for BIKINI’S. I hadn’t been brave enough to wear one of those for over 15 years. Having this done has made a HUGE difference for me in many ways and I encourage every mom to at least look into having a Mommy Makeover, you won’t regret it!”
