Crows Feet Treatment

Crows Feet Treatments in Louisville, Lexington, Kentucky

A combination of ProFractional and Ablative Erbium laser is used for periorbital lines, generally referred to as crow’s feet. Depending on how deep the lines are that are being treated, the amount of energy used and the recovery time will vary. Generally, it will take three to seven days to heal.

Our MicroLaserPeel is a partial-to-full epidermal laser peel and is done in our spa with a topical anesthetic. It ablates the outermost layers of the skin with a depth between 10 and 50 microns, based on the level of correction needed. This treatment is usually repeated two to four times, spaced six to eight weeks apart to achieve the desired result. Downtime is three to four days, and patients may look sunburned immediately following the treatment, but the redness will continue to dissipate.

Other options include Botox® or Dysport® treatments. These are encouraged to control the expressions that can cause the lines to return. Mild redness, swelling, or bruising can occur at the injection site. Skin Spa also has Home Skin Care for the treatment of crow’s feet.
