Description
Halo Laser treatments combine deep dermal rejuvenation with renewal of the epidermis for a beautiful, radiant facial complexion. This laser treatment also offers great results with less downtime than other more aggressive treatments require.
Indications
A desire for smaller pores, brighter looking skin, a more even skin texture, and an improvement in wrinkles and fine lines.
Intended Results
An overall improvement in skin tone, texture, and fine lines and wrinkles. Also, a reduction in pore size and a radiant glow to the skin.
The Procedure
About an hour before your treatment, topical anesthetic can be applied to your skin to ensure comfort during the procedure. The Halo hand piece will be rolled across the skin, and patients often feel an occasional pricking sensation accompanied with a feeling of heat. Treatment areas are measured using motion tracking technology to ensure that each area is evenly treated.
There is no set number of treatments patient need to undergo; rather, they have the flexibility to choose how many treatments they want. Discussing your options with one of our nurses can help to determine how many treatments are needed to meet your aesthetic goals.
Recuperation and Healing
Following a Halo treatment, most patients will continue to feel a warm sensation for 15 to 30 minutes, though this will dissipate with time. After 24 hours, the skin will begin to peel, but makeup can be applied. By day three or four the skin will begin to peel more aggressively, revealing new, fresh skin underneath. Results should become visible five days after treatment, though your skin will continue to improve over time.
