MyEllevate is the first procedure of its kind, with a total focus on contouring the jawline through a precise, minimally-invasive technique. This procedure has been devised with efficacy and outcome in mind. It works by inserting durable suture material in a grid-like pattern across the upper neck, just below the jawline. A "closed" procedure that involves tiny nicks in the skin, MyEllevate creates a scaffold in which the glands and muscles of the facial frame are precisely lifted and supported for many years.

The MyEllevate procedure is decidedly different than a facelift or neck lift. These procedures are intended to reposition facial or neck tissue and excise the skin to support new contours. Individually or together, they require general anesthesia and up to two weeks of recovery time. While facelifts and neck lifts do offer specific benefits, neither supports the glands and bands that can disrupt the ideal contour of the jawline. MyEllevate is designed for this exact purpose. The treatment may be ideal for adults who are beginning to notice the loss of curvature in the lower face or upper neck, and who still have optimal skin elasticity.

Unlike a facelift or neck lift, your MyEllevate procedure is performed in our comfortable office using a local anesthetic. After anesthetizing the area, Dr. Salzman makes a series of small punctures along the jawline. He uses the ICLED system to guide the progression of a narrow needle and thread through the punctures in a particular pattern between the skin and underlying muscle. This pattern secures glands and muscle in place, resulting in a smoother, more defined jawline. The process takes approximately one hour.

After your procedure, you may want to return home to rest. You may feel tightness or tenderness in your upper neck area. You may be instructed to wear a chin strap for one to two days to support your new jawline contours as the muscle heals. Swelling, bruising, and dimpling are common side effects that should fade in about four days. Once they have resolved and you no longer need the compression of the chin strap, you may return to work and other light activities. You must refrain from strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for two weeks.

Results can last up to 3+ years! Recovery after this procedure is minimal and allows patients to get back to works in days, not weeks.
