Loss of facial volume and lack of a youthful facial appearance.
A more youthful, natural-looking and rested facial appearance. Less pronounced nasolabial folds and marionette lines and more definition in the cheeks.
To improve facial skin tone and texture and provide longer lasting results with reduced post-treatment inflammation.
The PERFECT Lift is an acronym for the Platelet Enriched Radiesse Facial Enhancement & Correction Treatment. It was designed and developed by Dr. Salzman for his patients who are in between needing injectable filler treatments and an Ageless Mini Facelift. The PERFECT Lift is the newest innovative injectable facial lifting technique combining deep biologic filler (Radiesse®) and superficial hylaronic acid (Restylane® or Juvederm®) with your own Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) in one treatment.
First, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient, similar to a blood test. That blood is placed in a special machine that spins it to separate the platelet-rich plasma from the platelet-poor plasma. Then, Radiesse®, a deep biologic filler, is injected through a small needle with Lidocaine, along the frame of the face. Additional hylaronic acid filler is also injected to customize the look and address small imperfections on the face. Finally, the PRP is injected over the treated areas.
The PERFECT Lift is an in-office procedure done in Skin Spa with Dr. Salzman’s Advanced Nurse Injectors. The results are immediate and are done in one visit lasting 90 minutes. It can be customized to include additional fillers for patients needing a larger correction. Patients are seen for consultation prior to treatment to determine what level of correction is needed.
Recuperation and Healing
The PERFECT Lift has minimal to no downtime. There may be mild swelling or bruising which could last a few days. We recommend patients avoid taking aspirin or other anti-inflammatory agents and vitamin E supplements for one week prior to treatment. We also ask you not to take any herbal medications, including green teas, one week prior to treatment. This will help minimize any potential bruising. No sutures are required and you can return to normal activities almost immediately.
The specific risks and suitability of this procedure for a new patient can be determined only at a consultation. All surgical procedures have some degree of risk. Minor complications that do not affect the outcome occur occasionally. Major complications are unusual.
